I participated in the annual charity skate deck auction hosted by the Ferndale, MI restaurant, Imperial, to create this unique portrait. As this is a restaurant that serves tacos and other Mexican food, I decided to create a piece featuring the iconic Mexican songstress, Selena Quintanilla. This board was auctioned off to benefit The Ruth Ellis Center, Detroit Hives, and Alternatives for Girls.

I was offered an internship to work alongside the visual designer of the Anthropologie store in Troy, MI. I was also graciously allowed to completely design this window myself, a first for the company allowing an intern such an honor. I had an absolutely wonderful time going through this creative process since three dimensional art is not my forte. I am sincerely grateful to this lovely company and the wonderful career advisors at my school for providing me with this amazing experience.
